Cars

 

          Many people believed that in 1978 some of the worst cars were made. The 1978 Amc Pacer was a regular car that people drove to work every day. Another everyday car was the Audi 80 (1978 model). People drove to work and pick up groceries only, but not go to the bar. This car was really ugly. There were some nice cars, but it wasn’t the one you drove on the street. It was the one you drove on a race track. One car was Alfa Romeo 33th 1978 racecar. This car was made and built in Italy.

Hair

 

          Hair was very popular during the 70’s, especially 1978, because there were many celebrities creating their own way of styling their hair.  One type of hairstyle was the short punk hair. The short punk hair was like a Mohawk, except Mohawks were taller and didn’t have hair on the sides. Another similar hairstyle was the medium punk hair. The difference between short and medium is that the medium punk hair looked like someone woke up a gel in it. The tousled bob hairstyle was a hair-do that was short and curly.

Music

 

          There was so much music made in 1978. There was music that was inspiring and dancing music. One example of inspiring music is the top 10 hits, number 7, “We are the Champions” by Queen. I would put this as an inspiring song because it says to never give up and you can do anything and become a champion. Two examples of dancing songs that was at Top 5 hits on the radio. They are “Shadow Dancing” by Andy Gibb and “Last Dance” by Donna Summer. This music’s had an up jumping beat.

Slang

 

          “Hay Foxy Mama you wanna dance?” Well in 1978 when “Shadow Dancing” and “Last Dance” came out people went to the bars and danced to these types of songs. At the bars men would usually said “foxy” to women that are attractive or they like. The definition term means Another car was the a really attractive woman. Another slang word that most men said was “far-out.” They said this to women if they were really great dancers. The definition of the word is cool and groovy. Another slang word was “fruity.” You would not usually hear this at a bar, but someone on would say it on the street. The definition term is lame or stupid or homosexual.

Current Events

          During 1978 there were many important events; the money was getting lower in other countries, peace with other countries and killers getting what they deserved. The year 1978 is when the dollar bill becomes lower than ever in most parts of Europe. Also during 1978 Egypt and Israel signed a peace treaty. A mass murder was thrown in jail; his name was David Berkowitz or also known as the “Son of Sam”. Most of his victims were young women.

Fantastic Contraption

1. What did you like about this game?

I liked that you can build wat ever you want in a certain amount of space.

2. How strategies did you use to accomplish your goals?

The straiges i used was to build what I needed. For example one of the maps you had to build a long strip so that is what I did I made one giant stick.

3. Do you consider this to be a silly casual game or a serious, educational game? Why?

This is a very silly game, because you have to have different methods on copling the game.
